Overview

Spider Control in the GTA & southern Ontario

Most Ontario spiders are harmless, and the goal for most customers is fewer webs and fewer sightings rather than total elimination.

We combine exterior treatment and web removal with practical changes — lighting, moisture, clutter — that reduce the insect population spiders rely on.

Signs

Signs to look for

  • Webbing in window corners, soffits, garage tracks and deck rails
  • Egg sacs in basements, crawl spaces and storage areas
  • Sightings in bathtubs and basements, especially in autumn
  • Heavy insect activity around exterior lights at night

Our process

How we handle it

Before we arrive

How to prepare

  • Clear access along the exterior perimeter
  • Tidy basement and garage storage so corners are reachable
  • Note the rooms where sightings happen most

Prevention

Keeping it from coming back

  • Switch exterior bulbs to warm or yellow-toned lighting
  • Keep window screens intact and door sweeps tight
  • Reduce cardboard storage in basements and garages
  • Manage damp in crawl spaces and utility rooms

Seasonal note: Spider sightings in Ontario climb through late summer and peak in September and October as males wander looking for mates and cooler nights push activity toward buildings.

FAQ

Common questions

Are there dangerous spiders in Ontario?

Medically significant spiders are rare in southern Ontario. Most sightings are harmless species, and we will tell you plainly if what you have found is unusual.

Will one treatment stop all spiders?

No treatment makes a property permanently spider-free. Realistic goals are a large reduction in webbing and sightings, maintained by controlling the insects they feed on.

Are your technicians licensed?

Yes. Pest control in Ontario is regulated, and any pesticide application we perform is carried out by a licensed exterminator working within Ontario's Pesticides Act and the product label.

Do you serve both homes and businesses?

We handle spider work for houses, condos and apartments as well as commercial properties such as restaurants, offices, retail units and multi-unit residential buildings.

What areas do you cover?

The Greater Toronto Area — Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill, Scarborough, North York, Etobicoke, Oakville, Oshawa, Pickering and Ajax — plus Hamilton, Kitchener–Waterloo–Cambridge and London.

How do I get a price?

Call 365-293-5253 or send the inspection request form. We ask what you're seeing, where, and for how long, because the size of the property and the extent of the activity drive both the treatment plan and the cost.
